People of this day and age are sometime too busy with their academics, work and careers that they are forgetting one of the most important thing in one's life. Family is actually the root of all things that revolves around the person.



People should understand family is forever. Family will stay by you through thick and thin. They are the people that will you when you are in trouble, provide you shelter when you have none and give you a warm welcome when you have no one to turn to.


Some might say that family are people who are related that we didn't chose, but what people don't know is that our family members are people who we need in our life, rather than we like them. Sometimes, family members might get on our nerves, but when we are alone, we tend to remember the things that our family members had done to us. So, love your family well, because you might not get to say to them " I love my family ".

Families have myths?

There some families in the world believed that there are myths that exist inside of their families. The myths are not very legendary of too mythical but there are just some specific culture inside the family itself.

Here are some examples:


Things in the family should be fair

Inside of every family, fairness and doing things without prejudice is a must.There is a myth that some siblings in the children will get extra or special treatment for either doing a good deed or achieving high scores in their tests. This is actually a common thing inside families. Parents usually treat the child with high achievements specially due to promoting good behaviour. This however can be misinterpret by the children.




Important events, 'perfect'



Important events or rather family gatherings are always said to be perfect. The importance of family gatherings are because members of the family thinks that it is important to make an impression towards the other members of the family in the gathering. The 'impressions' are thought as importance because it show the selected's family image or integrity.






Members of the family should feel the same

There is a myth that inside a family, for members who have deep strong connections with each other usually knows how other people  feels and thinks. Members who are usually quiet are asked whether there are all right or if they have problems. For this members, it is not about mind reading, but it is about being compassionate with one another.We will know whether a person has problems just by his or her actions.

What is a family tree?

The family tree is actually the diagram that show the members of the family from the different generations. The top of the family tree is usually the oldest of the generations following to the younger generations at the bottom of the tree. The family is actually a reference for the younger generations to know about the family history and heritage.

The family tree is actually called a family tree due to the growing of its members resembling tree barks and tree roots. The family tree is also a reference for the old generations to know the younger generations. So, the generations can keep up to date with their members of their family and the number of members that their family have. The tree also shows the relationships of its members and how coincide with each other.

The roles in the family

The Father

The Father is basically the provider of the family and known
as a paternal parent. Fathers act as a protective, supportive and responsible way towards the children. They play an active role in the growth and development of their children. The higher the father's involvement in their children's development, the higher the children's academic and sports achievements. This shows the father's involvement is a must in their children's growth.


The Mother

The mother is the person responsible for giving birth to her children. She is responsible in taking care of them and nurture them to be a good person. The mother's responsibilities consist of cooking, cleaning, teaching and caring for her children. The mother is called a maternal parent. The mother is absolutely the most important person in raising the children. Mothers are seen as the one who is in charge of domestic things in the house. She can be a different person when her children is involve.

The Children

The children are the pride of the family and the ones who will continue the family legacy and the continuation of the family's generations. The growth and development of the children is based on the parents involvement and the environment that the parents put them in. The children need lots and lots of love from their parents in order to grow up into responsible adults and become useful members of the community. The children will take the responsibilities of taking care of the parents when their parents are old and the children will have to take care of them the same way as their parents have took care of them.

Well, basically, a family is consist of  two parents which a father and a mother. Where there are parents there will be children, and those are the members that exist in a family. By having these members, a standard and typical family is created.

Why is a family so special?

Members of the family are related by blood and have a deep strong connection with themselves. The members of a family might not always be related by blood. The meaning of family can also be defined as members with deep strong connections but not related by blood. The particular family forms when the members have the same experiences, the same attitudes, come from the same background and the list goes on.


          This is a standard family with its members. You can see the father, mother,                                                       their children and pets.


Suprisingly, every person have a family of their own whether with their own family, with their friends, or with people who are similar to each other.


Well, this one of the example of a family that is not related by blood, its members are consist of individuals who are not related by blood but have a deep connection with each other.
